The Servo Drives is a device that typically+ receives a command signal from a controller. The main aim of the drive is to receive the command amplify the signal and then transmits electric current to a servo motor. This way the motion is produced in proportional to the command signal. The signal represents a desired velocity or desired torque or position. The Servo Drives also has different sets of sensors attached to the servo motor that helps in reporting the motor's actual status and act as a feedback mechanism to the servo drive. Further, it compares the signal with the actual position and adjust the position if a difference is found. They are used in various applications such as robotics, aerospace and other industrial processes.
